Le Santa Hold & Win launches on 8 December 2026, and Hacksaw Gaming publishes its official free demo on release day. The player above is ready for it: once the demo is out, one press loads the real game with a play-money balance. Until then you will see the release date in its place, rather than a recording or a copy from an unofficial site.
Free play here will not need an account, an email address or a card. The balance is not real money, cannot be withdrawn and has no link to any casino account.
Why start with the demo?
On a three-by-three grid the game lives or dies on its respin feature, and you only get a feel for that by seeing it trigger a few times. The demo lets you watch how quickly the three lives run out, how often a Clover lands next to a big Coin and how a Bag of Gold sweeps up the grid, all without spending a penny.

- Choose a realistic stakeUse the bet control to pick the amount you would actually play with. In Great Britain that cannot be more than £5 a spin, or £2 if you are under 25.
- Spin for Coins and Jackpot MarkersThree or more of them anywhere on the reels pay their combined value, even outside the bonus.
- Trigger Rainbow FortuneA Rainbow Scatter starts the respins with three lives. Each new special symbol resets the lives to three until the grid fills or the lives run out.
Demo versus real money
The demo uses the same rules, symbols and features as the real game. What can differ is the RTP setting, because casinos choose between several versions, and the stake limits that apply to your account. The demo may also show a feature buy button that you will not find at UK-licensed casinos, where buying bonuses is not permitted.
Getting useful answers from free play
- Stick to one stake for the whole session so the results are comparable.
